What is it all about ?

With more than 100 years of experience in drinking wheatbeer we are a group of enthusiastic and experienced connoisseurs who are just always on the hunt for the best wheatbeer in the world....and on our hunt we have a lot of fun.

What exactly do we do ?

Every year, we meet once in the autumn to a wheat beer blind tasting. The evaluation takes place in several rounds. In each round, 4 varieties are tested. Each participant can place 1 - 5 points per category. The categories smell, initital taste, taste and aftertaste are evaluated. We only comment on the color, but without evaluation. For each beer min. 4 - max. 20 points are awarded.

What have we found out so far ?

There are really many different and great varieties wheatbeer. We have found out that the most famous brands are not necessarily the best. The discounter brands, on the other hand, have more or less fallen through with us all. In addition to the individual taste of each of us, we were often surprisingly unanimous and our favorites almost all participants liked a lot. The best wheat beers come from Bavaria - but also other (Federal German) countries have great beers. In any case, there is hardly anything more refreshing than a cool wheatbeer and we look forward to the good taste, the delicious variety and our new discoveries.
